Description

Presenting my interpretation of Colette's literary masterpiece, The Innocent Libertine.

This textile rendition of the ingenue Minne is a flirty ensemble of Lolita pinks, Virginal Whites and the glint of Lame.

A Vintage Pink Satin Camisole with a Sheer Stretch Chiffon back has been lavishly adorned with Antique 1900 Edwardian Sequinned Flowers on the bodice, all securely tacked onto a Pure Silk Black Net backing. Cheekily drawing attention to the décolletage is a delicately tattered ruffled trim fashioned from Cotton netting (salvaged from an Antique French Edwardian piece) combined with what used to be an Antique Crocheted Collar in Ecru.

That scrumptious ragdoll skirt is truly dandy eye candy.

Over a hand-dyed underlying skirt cut from a Vintage Slip, just some of those delicious cake layers are an exquisite Pure Silk Scarf with embroidery, a variety of Venetian Satin Laces, Antique Trims, glistening Pink Bronze Lame Ribbons and a single Antique Art Deco Passementarie Lace Crochet Appliqué with Corded Silk Crepe. You see those amazing glimmers of Lame? Those are FANTABULOUS Salvaged Flapper Dress Remnants in the most delectable hues of Black, Gold and a touch of Nude. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.

Edges have been intentionally left raw for a sweetly dishevelled look.

Straps are further accented with more Flapper Dress Remnants, Black Stretch Lace and that same French Edwardian Cotton Netting.

* VITAL STATS *

Waist - up to 28" (there's stretch in the back panel)
