STRAITJACKET FOR A STRUMPET

A fabric cuff of the most luscious proportions.

Contemporary Striped Italian Dupioni Silk has been embellished with a Venetian Satin Rose that has, in turn, been meticulously adorned with TONS of sparkly Glass Cubes and a delish trim of Faux Pearls upon Brass. Flirty ruffles to the left are composed from a blend of Velvet Chiffon Prints paired with Black Scalloped Lace.

Now, a Sheela Goh Couture ensemble would be incomplete without touches of rock queen chains, wouldn't it? Happily, I acquiesce as the centre bits near the Rose appliqué are given further doses of sparkle and shine Pink Topaz Bell Chandelier Briolettes, Labradorite Briolettes, Mystic Pink Amethyst Briolettes, exquisite Pink Sapphire Briolettes and utterly droolworthy Mystic Pink Amethyst Briolettes.

To left and right sides, more chains drape but in a structured fashion so that when the cuff is sideways, they form sexy loops [see bottom right image in Picture 3].

Yet more chains cavort amongst a decadent frou frou trim of Black Lace to bedeck the hem of this opulent confection.

Ensuring a touch of luxe on both the inside and outside, I've lined this wristwrapper with Taffeta in a regal shade of Purple. Measuring 7" wide by 7.5" in height, she secures with hooks/eyes affixed to Grosgrain straitjacket-esque straps (hence the name) that are totally adjustable. Having said that, this cuff would best suit wrists measuring no smaller than 6", ensuring a comfy, snug fit.

STRAITJACKET FOR A STRUMPET is seamless as clearly evidenced from the pictures, with the exception of selected portions that have been intentionally prettied-up with fancy stitches. All components used (save for the Italian Dupioni Silk, 14k Gold Filled Chains and Taffeta) are antique and very, very old. In fact, some are over 100 years old, seriously. So please, wear her with care and respect. Dry clean only.
