~ About Rose-Adélaïde Ducreux ~

Born in France in 1761, Rose-Adélaïde Ducreux, a daughter of the pastellist Joseph Ducreux, was among hundreds of artists who first saw their works on Salon walls in 1791. Ducreux's oeuvre, like those of the sisters Marie-Victoire Lemoine and Marie-Denise, who also emerged in the 1790s, is slowly coming to light. She died in 1802 in the Dominican Republic.

{ COLLECTION }

SHE WEARS BLUE is part of the STORIE DI PRIMAVERA Collection, Eclettica's line-up of lush compositions and stories for Spring 2008. She is an exclusive one-of-a-kind design, available from the studio of Eclettica.
