BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

Completely and implicitly inspired by Queen's magnum opus, "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Its composer Freddie Mercury claimed the lyrics were simply, "random rhyming nonsense". Apparently, he worked out the song in his head and directed the band through the song. Oh my god, how cool is that.

The most expensive single ever made, Bohemian Rhapsody was produced over a period of 3 weeks across five studios. Today it remains one of the most elaborate recordings in music history.

The song - comprised of six sections namely intro; ballad; guitar solo; opera; rock; and an outro - with its abrupt changes in style, tone, and tempo, was extremely unusual to rock music at the time of its birth @ 1975.

Indeed, Bohemian Rhapsody is singularly unique being depicted in the style of a stream-of-consciousness nightmare with an unusual musical structure (it has no chorus, instead consisting of seemingly disjunct sections including operatic segments and an a cappella and heavy metal part).

Whatever and however it was defined, Bohemian Rhapsody summarizes Queen to me. Bohemian Rhapsody IS Queen.
